Kate’s love for yoga, meditation and chanting began when she was in college. She attended a college where Transcendental Meditation is a required part of the curriculum and the education is consciousness based. Along with the common subjects she studied the Vedas, Ayurveda, Gandharva Veda, the Bhagavad Gita and other related subjects. Her family later met their spiritual teacher who they traveled with on tours around the United States and for ten years were by her side learning from the Saraswati lineage.
In Nevada City she found a teacher that led her to Kundalini Yoga and all the amazing kriyas, meditations and chants. Her journey was healing and transformative on so many levels that she was inspired to study with Siri Gian Singh Khalsa and complete her 220 hour Kundalini Yoga teacher certification, through IKYTA. She is excited to share the experience and knowledge of Kundalini Yoga with the community.
