Samantha Keller

Samantha has been studying movement in various forms since she was a little girl.  All of her life she has been drawn to studies of dance, music, and holistic health.  She found a true kinship with Iyengar yoga when she was in her late 20’s and recovering from a bad back injury.  This injury turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as it led her to study with Maya Lev, Vanessa Ewing, and other highly skilled Iyengar teachers at the Yoga Center Santa Cruz studio for 7 years.  She has been practicing yoga on and off for 11 years, and last year felt the calling to deepen her commitment to the practice.  Her love of and respect for the practice of yoga has grown immensely since undergoing teacher training with Amanda Dozal in 2014 at Wild Mountain Yoga.
Being a singer and a bodyworker, she finds that both of these arts are beautifully resonant with and enhanced by a strong asana practice.  Her passion for alignment is fed both through her massage therapy and the teaching of yoga.  It is a pleasure, an honor, and a joy for her to be able to bring this ancient and ever evolving form of movement and mindfulness to her students.
