Circle of Stillness: WYMC is now open every Tuesday 12:30-1:30 welcoming those interested in a FREE weekly noon hour Circle of Stillness. We offer the opportunity to come together to sit with stillness in honor and support of those in need, loved ones, our community, our planet, life in general. A box will be available in the lobby to place cards specifying a person or situation to be held in the hearts of those in the circle. Leave a card in the lobby whether or not you can make the circle; come to the circle whether or not you have left a card, come and go as you please. Our time together will be spent in quiet contemplation speaking only to acknowledge the cards, and what they represent. It will be a time spent consciously tuning in and resonating out; connecting as one.Call Kathie 273.7406

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation: In this class we will explore the various technologies of Kundalini yoga. We will energize and awaken the body through warm-ups, pranayama, and a strong yoga set and end with a meditation and devotional chanting. This class is guaranteed to uplift and enliven you! Moon Rising Blissful Yoga: If you are feeling like a beginner or simply desire a delicious stress-unwind, join Lotus in the perfect hatha yoga class. Gentle classical asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing) & mudras (energy seals) are clearly explained & demonstrated. This class is energetic & deeply relaxing. Special care is given helping those with injuries. Classes are always suitable for all levels, are heart centered & transformative. Get Thursday morning off to the perfect start by luxuriating in blissful stretching & toning, energy kriyas (aura-body cleansing) followed by a relaxing yoga nidra (guided visualization) that will deeply steady your mind & make your heart shimmer!

Womens Dance Temple :Honoring yourself in a sanctuary of permission, delighting in yourself as a body of movement, attending to yourself for the sake of healing, together we journey into the Wisdom of the Feminine, the Truth of the Body, the Knowing of your soul. Yoga and Ayurveda:  Weaving breath, body and awareness, we explore the qualities of yoga postures in relation to your own personal well being. This class intergrates Ayurveda, Sanskrit and core wave movement. Taught by Scott 273.8970

Yoga Thrive: Making space in the body and focus in the mind, we feel the interconnectedness of it all. Blending breath and fluid movement, to open innate untapped energy, increasing clarity, connecting body and mind in a strengthing flow. Modifications are given in the spirit of inclusivity. HOW TO ATTEND

Just show up! All classes are ongoing and fees are paid directly to the instructor. Complimentary use of yoga mat for first class.
Class Schedule

Pre-register for workshops by calling the instructor or Wild Mountain, 530.265.4072.

Yoga Etiquette
DO ... remove shoes in lobby.
DO ... wear comfortable workout attire, clean, bare feet.
DO ... stay well hydrated.
DO ... purchase or bring your own personal yoga mat.
DO ... arrive on time. Each class has its own rhythm.
The beginning is important.
DO ...let your teacher know about injuries or conditions tht might affect your practice.

DON'T ... eat a heavy meal within 2 hours of class.
DON'T ... wear fragrance or perfumes.
DON'T ...leave your cellphones on!
DON'T ... enter studio during meditation, but you are welcome to join us once we start the asana practice.

 

LEVELS

Level 1: A well-rounded, basic yoga practice for beginners or for those wishing to review the fundamentals. Emphasis on breathing and healthy alignment.

Level 2: A moderately paced class which builds strength, flexibility, and concentration. Continued emphasis on breathing and healthy alignment.An intermediate class for those wishing to deepen their practice and refine yogic breathing.

Level 3: A more challenging class for those with an ongoing yoga practice. Advanced postures and methods of practice will be introduced. Not suitable for beginners.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Wild Mountain Yoga Center is located in the Seven Hills Business District just west of downtown Nevada City. Traveling from Grass Valley take Hwy 49/20 to the Gold Flat/Ridge Rd. exit. Turn left and go over freeway and take the first right onto Searls Ave. Continue for about 2 blocks and we're on the left at 574 Searls.
