Graham instructs a dynamic, fun and challenging class. He is passionate about communication and attempts to perfect optimal alignment instructions in an uplifting environment. He believes that the asana (posture) practice has the capacity to fundamentally improve our relationship with ourselves, our life, and our potential. His ability to instruct yoga with as much precision as heart is dedicated to the unwavering support, guidance, and teachings of Amanda Serene Dozal with whom he has been formally trained at the 500+hour level.

Coco – Only Six Months Old, And Already A Dedicated Yogi

Coco Saldana (last name?) comes to our Yoga Hour almost every weekday. We all wish we had as great a practice as she did, so we sat down with her to find out just how she does it.

 

Coco, you have a very busy schedule of sleeping and drinking milk and yet, you come to yoga a lot. You’re here almost every day! How do you keep yourself motivated, Coco?

I wouldn’t really say I am motivated. I mean, all of a sudden I just find myself in my car seat and suddenly, whoa, there I am, doing yoga with all these people. Sometimes when class starts, I think, oh no, not again. But I always feel really good when we’re lying down in shivasana. Shivasana makes it all worth it for me. Aşk Duası
Who is your favorite teacher?
I like Graham a lot, he has really interesting words of the day. Seren has a very cute voice – it is almost as cute as I am. I like Amanda, but the other day she had us do this thing where we had to put all our weight on our hands, and it was hard, and I was like, “Why are all these people doing this really hard thing when they could just be sleeping and drinking milk all the time?” So I just started crying and my mom carried me out and fed me, which was what I was hoping would happen. I like Nancy, she wears very colorful outfits and that is exciting to me. And Kristen’s music is my favorite. It’s very soothing and melodic. Güncel teknoloji haberleri
Do you have a favorite pose?
I like the beginning, because everyone is chanting om, and it kind of sounds like being in the womb, which is great.  Afterward, if I look sleepy my mom puts me in my basket, and I just watch her do downward dog until she gets really blurry and I fall asleep. I like the standing sequences, because at that point, I am generally asleep.  Sometimes I wake up while everyone is in upward facing bow, but then, I just pretend to be asleep again so I don’t have to do it.
Is there any advice you’d give for someone starting a yoga practice.
Don’t worry if you think it’s going to be too hard, because if you don’t like something, you can just cry and then your mom will hug you and rock you back to sleep, and if you don’t fall asleep, she will take you out into the lobby and feed you. Wild Mountain Yoga Opening in Grass Valley

Dear Wild Ones

I am extremely excited to announce Wild Mountain Yoga’s upcoming expansion into downtown Grass Valley. The space, formerly ‘The Loft’, is gorgeous and made for doing yoga. It has been a dream of mine to make yoga more accessible to the greater community and am thrilled to share this with you all.

We will now have 2 locations: Wild Mountain Yoga Nevada City and Wild Mountain Yoga Grass Valley. There has been a little confusion surrounding this.

So, why are we expanding into Grass Valley? Simple. The community. Wild Mountain Yoga has transformed over the past 5 years. We are blessed to have such a professional, stellar staff and an amazing studentship. I have wanted to open another studio for years and now have dedicated teachers and students to build that dream with.

Wild Mountain used to be a studio where noticeable ‘favorite’ teachers had huge classes and followings while other teacher’s class attendance remained small and difficult to build. This dynamic has significantly changed. If you’ve been to Wild Mountain lately, you’ll notice that our classes are well attended with a steady number of students. Some classes are even bursting at the seams. I see this growth as a result of our teachers and students being more dedicated to the practice of yoga than ever before. I want to give all teachers a chance to teach more, to reach more students, at more and varied times of day. Any teacher who has the drive and devotion to make yoga their career should have the chance to do so. When great teachers can truly serve at their highest capacity, everyone benefits. bedava bahis

With more and more folks coming in these days, the more we hear about their varied needs. Some students would like more lunchtime classes, another wants classes for people with injuries, another wants more advanced classes with inversions and challenging poses. A lot of students live and work in the Grass Valley area – a closer more accessible location with more times and options will allow them to practice more easily. We are here to serve, right? It is my mission that every single person in Nevada County who wants to practice yoga has the chance to come into Wild Mountain. We are helping and changing people’s bodies and lives for the better and I want to reach all who are hungry for this transformation.

When I first moved here I use to wonder what brought me to Nevada County. The answer is now beyond clear. It was to build a super strong sangha (community) in a super special space. The Heart of Hatha 250-hour yoga teacher training/immersion is designed for new and seasoned teachers and practitioners. This training will give you the knowledge, hands on skills and certification required to successfully teach. With a unique, high caliber staff of national and international teachers, it is our goal to prepare and inspire you toward a path and practice of presence and peace. This program has been designed to take as an entire 200hr training or a 125 hr immersion.  For students looking to deepen their practice and gain greater understanding of the science and art of yoga, this first phase is for you. You will learn about strong foundational joint and bone alignment in asana, and why yoga is about finding stability and strength  before ever stretching which is greatly misunderstood in Hatha Yoga. If you already taken a the first phase or a  200hr TT with Amanda, join us for the second! Empower yourself and/or your students through effective communication and teaching techniques. We will dive further into mantra, chanting, mudras, bandhas, pranayam.  Teaching should be of reason and not random.   Whether you choose to teach or not these practices will empower you to communicate with confidence and navigate life with clarity.
