Yoga is a true form of art, and when practiced it calms the mind, frees the spirit and is a direct guide to opening our hearts. In essence, it has the power to heal and make us whole.

May we work with Nature to understand the Soul-

“In 1997 at the age of 18, I began diving deeper into spiritual and occult practices during my pregnancy. Without ever stepping foot into a ‘yoga’ studio, I knew a spiritual path was calling and I’ve never stopped listening to that call to serve.  My lifes work reflect a love, devotion & passion to the ancient science and art of yoga. I am continually finding inspiration from this mundane life , the mystery and truth of nature,  my teachers, my studentship, the lineages and practices that are deep in my heart. I am honored to share this path with you all. My deepest guru gratitude to my son Bear and my grandchildren Nature and Nova. You have shown me unimaginable beauty. OM tat sat om”.

Amanda has been certified since 2002 and teaching full time since 2005.  Unifying the technical with the mystical, she has spent the past 23 years immersed in practice and study of the 8 limbed Patanjalic path, the Concepts of Karma, Signs and Symbology along with western and eastern psychology. Blending her beloved foundation of Kriya Yoga with the brilliance and beauty of various Hatha lineages and eastern practices ( including, Iyengar & Anusara yoga , Tibetan Heart & Shadow Yoga,  Kundalini /Laya practices & philosophies  along with energetic practices of QiGong and Tai Chi) she has developed a foundational yet meticulously, innovative and inspiring approach to practice and teaching, helping people to better understand themselves and the complex system of yoga and ancient healing arts. Amanda believes that yoga IS one of the first and truest forms of integral earth based therapies.

Amanda is the space holder of Wild Mountain Yoga Center and founder of  The Heart of Hatha training programs and immersions. Having taught at, managed and owning studios across the North and Mid-west she is known as a leader in community. She recently finished a year program with the Jung institute ( realizing she’s not that into Jung)  and is currently in a 3 year program for spiritual counseling. She continues to study under some of the worlds most masterful teachers and healers.  Rooted in the Sierra Foothills on a beautiful piece of land with 3 generations, she continues to teach publicly & privately, offering weekly private sessions, classes, mentorship, spiritual counseling , workshops & teacher trainings locally and nationally. She continues to travel every year to be with her teachers and mentors.

Seren Rubens

Seren Rubens

Seren has been practicing yoga for over a decade, and teaching since 2012.   She weaves intelligent physical alignment with heartfelt intention in a way that invites students to slow down, tune into their bodies, and fall in love with their own wise and wild hearts. Her classes are both challenging and sweet, playful and deep.

Seren found her way to the mat while traveling in India and recovering from a climbing injury. She immediately recognized yoga as a path towards more vitality and joy in her life, and has practiced with devotion ever since. Seren completed her first 200 hour yoga training through Yoga Tree Studio while living in San Francisco, and over 500 hours of additional in depth study with teachers near and dear to her heart, including KK Ledford, Sianna Sherman, Katie Silcox, Chrisandra Fox and Amanda Dozal.

Always a lover of nature and beauty, Seren is inspired by the ocean, dancing, traveling to foreign lands, and the way the stars move through the sky.

Vajrapranam

Taya Malakian

I am deeply devoted to the practice of yoga and meditation. It has been the vehicle to get me through every challenge and to accelerate the path towards all my goals. I love these practices and have enjoyed teaching them for the past 3 years.

The Kundalini yoga classes I teach can range from active and intense to subtle and blissful. We warm up, get moving, relax with a healing gong savasana and go deep into meditation. Anyone can dive in and get a lot out of these practices. Words can’t do it justice, you gotta experience it for yourself!
